MSI is the one that has begun implementing the new generation of PCI Express 3.0. The MSI has done with his Z68A-GD80 (G3), a board designed for Intel processors (LGA 1155) and integrates the Intel chipset and specifications Z68 quite normal now, except of course the PCIe 3.0.
PCI Express 3.0 comes as a natural evolution from previous versions like 2.0 and the current widely used in virtually all motherboards on the market. According to MSI the bandwidth supported is double favor, of course, the 3.0, although in reality the components that connect to the new slot cannot take full advantage … for now. PCIe 3.0 is fully backwards compatible with version 2.0, which is a great advantage to use all current graphics cards.
The other technical features of the MSI Z68A-GD80 (Gen 3) talk about DDR3, SATA III and II versions (6 and 3 respectively Gbps), USB 3.0 and 2.0 and any little thing. As the number of PCIe 3.0 ports that offer, it is two to 16x.
MSI also announced the Z68A-GD65 (G3), another board almost identical except that it incorporates either eSATA or Firewire, and because its PCIe 2.0 slots are some less. Read more… »

They filter out new details about the next generation of SSDs from Intel: the Intel 710 and Intel SSD 720 was allowed to see a few weeks ago and continue their journey before reaching the market. We knew the 710 would be a small facelift on the 320, while the big news of the 720 is it format.
Intel SSD will start talking about the 720, it is most interesting when using PCI-Express. This model can be achieved, according to recent rumors, numbers up to 2,200 and 1,800 MB / s read and write, respectively, with capacities of 200 or 400 GB. Obviously, this is a sector-oriented model professional, ready for use in servers or workstations that can use it. The price is still unknown, but you can imagine it will not be cheap.
On the other hand, the Intel SSD 710 looks like a clone of the current 320: capacity 100, 200 or 400 GB and transfer rates of “only” 270 to 210 MB / s. They are models of entry into the world of SSD should be very cheap to achieve some success, and hopefully this issue is a surprise and we can be even closer than expected € 1 = 1 GB.
As we say the price of both models is still unknown, while its release date continues as he testified roadmap: imminent for the 710 and over the coming months for the 720.

Although the tablet Asus Eee Pad Transformer is not yet available officially in our country, you could leave us with the desire to see in action in this device after HoneyComb show you, how the Acer Iconia Tab A500 and Galaxy Tab have the 10.1.
Our fellow Xatakandroid already have a model in its claws and the first who have already been unpacked and show what it’s like in person on Asus Eee Pad Transformer.
Please remember that this tablet should not arrive later this month of June and that his strong point, besides coming to Android 3.0 will be based with a keyboard that turns this into a practical portable tablet with Android.

The CEO of the company itself has been responsible for heating the atmosphere on the appearance of the new Dell XPS 15z laptop, which we made a video with a few strokes and a promise that will soon be among us.
Unfortunately, for Dell, the notebook has been leaked a few days with sharp images, and some specifications, but at that time was not known the name of the new device.
Rather than being the relay for Dell Adamo we all hope is a successful renewal of the XPS family, with a more slender, accompanied by details like a new keyboard and an elaborate design pattern for the speaker grille.
It was known that would initially have a 15.6-inch screen, and the latest Intel processor. Later versions will reach 14 to 17 inches. We know have a pair of USB 3.0 ports.
As you can see, Dell remains committed to the optical reader, and as in the MacBook Pro, incorporates LEDs that report the battery status without turning on the device.

Ivy Bridge, the Intel microprocessor family that will succeed the Intel Core 2nd Gen. (or Sandy Bridge), will bring about an evolution toward the main manufacturing process of 22 nanometers, but could also have some surprises: PCI-Express 3.0.
PCIe has become in recent years in connection standard graphics card to the motherboard in the domestic sphere, i.e. on computers in our homes. Currently dominates the PCI-E version 2.0. The main improvements involve the third generation would be a bandwidth of twice based on 16 links (16x), so that the GPU could communicate much faster with the other components of the computer.
Obviously, besides the improvement provided by PCI-Express 3.0 also need to evolve both graphics cards and motherboards, especially its chipsets. Ivy Bridge chipset will be the first to support PCI-E 3.0, and supposedly the motherboard for these new chips would also be the first to use their slots (we’ll see if all or some of them.)
With all this, the launch of Ivy Bridge could bring enough news about 22 nanometers, new motherboards and new chipsets, new socket (not yet confirmed this, but we all know Intel), PCI-Express 3.0 and the new cards graphs. When? 2012, probably at CES 2012.

Intel takes another generation leap in solid state drives with the launch of the Intel SSD 320 Series, which will replace the existing units Intel X25-M SATA SSD.
The main novelty of these new discs is that they are based on NAND flash memory chips of 25 nanometers. According to Intel, this new reduction of the reports can significantly increase the capacity of the units, which now reaching 600GB, and reduce the price by around 30% on the X-25M.
The new 320 series SSD SATAII interface maintained, with read speeds of 270Mbps and write speeds up to 220MBps. No figures are as high as 510 Series SSD, but its price is considerably lower. According to Intel, the prices of these drives will be $ 89 (40GB), $ 159 (80GB), $ 209 (120GB), $ 289 (160GB), $ 529 (300GB) and $ 1,069 for the larger capacity model, 600GB.

Transcend did not want to miss this year 2010 without announcing their hard drives StoreJet range, which are portable and durable, enhanced with the inclusion of models with capacities of 750 GB. Look what you could carry in your pocket!
The new Transcend StoreJet portable hard drive are 2.5 inches and whose construction ensures their shockproof operation through, among other systems, a silicone outer shell responsible for cushioning the bumps that we give to these discs. The new range is correct models with USB 2.0 interface and 3.0, with various colors and finishes to choose from.
Focusing on prices, new models with 750 GB of capacity out for between 123 and 130 euros depending on model, so given the slight difference between them, the finish and the interface are the key points that look to renew our rugged portable hard drive.

One of the most beautiful laptop that we find today in the market, the HP Envy 17 3D is a reality. Face, but actually the end of the day.
Although the HP Envy 3D secure 17 calling attention to its 17.3-inch screen compatible with the three dimensions and resolution 1080, the interior does not detract and impresses in the same proportion as the design that we like the HP Envy.
The basis of all the power of this laptop is the HP 3D Intel Quad Core i7-720QM that works with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 1GB. To avoid suffering, there are up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM available, and a hard drive up to 2 TB 7200 rpm which is the ideal partner for Blu-Ray drive included.
Of course, to think about having this HP Envy 17 3D should start saving as part of the $ 1,600 and accept that you cannot use it much on the move, because with the optional 9-cell battery power only hold 3.5 hours we use it without having to connecting to power.

PClab.pl Boys have managed to take a sample of upcoming Intel Core processor Gulftown i9. This equips Intel 32nm six-core and was tested three motherboards and PClab team compared the results with those cast by the current i5 Core, Core i7, Core 2 Quad and Phenom II.
As expected, this micro runs six cores and 2800MHz shattered in a second any hint of the other cpus hope, that if, in looking at issues watches and kernel core, Gulftown is not much faster than the processors Core or Core i7 i5. Professional users can greatly benefit from the extra 2 cores, and its support Hyperthreading, but this is clearly not a CPU for gamers and regular users. Read more… »
